Freshly Picked by Dan Goldberg
Great food starts long before it enters a kitchen. Great food starts with fertile soil, attentive care and the patience it takes to let animals and plants mature. Every ingredient that ends up on our plate has a story. Director/Photographer Dan Goldberg has always been drawn to those beginnings. His farm-to-table imagery captures the meal as a sum of its parts. Ingredients that feel vibrant and alive, yet sometimes imperfect.
Dan’s background shooting both in studio and on location allows him to easily move between rural landscapes, bustling kitchens and carefully composed still lives. This body of work feels editorial and intimate, and grounded in his belief that food connects us to people and places.
For Dan, food photography is all about capturing the life around the table. The farmer who grows it, the chefs who prepare it and the communities who gather with it.
