Dear Art Producer, Carrie Nygren, and Being Nimble
I admire people who, through their experience, can see things from a variety of perspectives. My guest this week is Laughlin Constable’s VP, Head of Production, Carrie Nygren. Having worked in multiple departments at Laughlin means she is someone who has various beneficial insights. Having worked at Laughlin for 27 years means Carrie recognizes that the traditional role of advertising doesn’t exist anymore — we need to be nimble to survive.
Carrie’s varied background includes being a former art director and creative director before moving into production. An artist at heart, Carrie creates beautiful paintings as well! Check out her portfolio site and her art on Instagram.
This weekly series shares conversations with Art Producers in Advertising, where together we can envision the future for this industry and take steps forward as a community.
