Jason Lindsey's Solar Hero Image Selected for APA LA's 2022 Off the Clock Competition

APA LA's Off the Clock competition is an opportunity to present artist's inspired personal photography to the world. Each year APA LA invites a well-respected, influential visionary from the international photo community to contribute their talent towards curating this prestigious exhibition. This year, Paul Martineau, the Curator of Photographs at the J. Paul Getty Museum, has carefully selected his top one hundred images from all submissions.

We are excited to announce that an image from Jason Lindsey's Solar Heroes project was selected. This image, along with the other winners will be printed in the APA LA's catalog. Additionally, The images will be available on the APA LA's online gallery.

Jason's personal project, Solar Heroes, celebrates those who install solar. He was aware that this was a politically charged topic when it shouldn’t be. Rather than focus on one industry replacing another, he wondered why no one was talking about how the solar industry was adding jobs. Why wasn’t anyone talking about the workers? So, Jason sought to highlight these unsung heroes.

Congratulations Jason!
