Digital Marketing Internship at Heather Elder Represents

Are you a college student looking to get hands-on experience in marketing while learning about the commercial photography industry, and arts business administration? As a leading agency for commercial photographers and directors, Heather Elder Represents is looking for a candidate who is a self starter, able to work quickly, willing to learn and passionate about the arts and creative industries.

Position: Digital Marketing Internship

Duration: 20 weeks

Time Commitment: 20 hours a week

Start Date: Mid-May

End Date: Mid-October, with the potential to convert into part-time hourly work on an ongoing basis. 

Location: Remote

Compensation: $16.28 - $20 DOE, potential for class credit. 

Responsibilities:

Marketing Campaigns

•Craft engaging blog posts to showcase our photographers and directors.

•Schedule social media posts for the day of important industry events.

•Implement email follow-ups to engage with recipients who haven't opened our communications.

Website Updates

•Keep our website fresh by adding new motion content.

•Ensure our Google tracking is up to date by adding new work and monitoring performance.

•Update our website with new projects as soon as they're added to appropriate portfolios.

LinkedIn Paid Promotions

•Develop and execute targeted campaigns on LinkedIn.

•Monitor campaign performance and make adjustments as needed.

•Generate comprehensive reports at the end of each campaign cycle.

•Handle billing for photographers involved in campaigns.

Podcast Production

•Assist in gathering information to create podcast introductions.

•Coordinate with guests to obtain necessary promotional materials.

•Work with our Producer to ensure smooth podcast recordings.

•Create engaging blog posts to accompany podcast episodes.

•Promote podcast episodes across various channels once they're live.

Create Digital Marketing Assets

•Design captivating presentations to showcase our talents.

•Develop social media assets to enhance our online presence.

Qualifications:

•Current enrollment in a college or university program, pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field.

•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Canva (or other similar program), Generative AI programs.

•Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.

•Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

•Passion for the arts and creative industries.

•Willingness to learn and be a self-starter
